As
you
may
know,
Mike
Olheiser
went
to
Austria
for
the
Masters
World
Cycling
Championships.
He
won
the
time
trial
and
is
now
the Masters
World
Time
Trial
Champion!!!
Mike
then
went
on
to
get
10th
place
in
the
Elite
World
Road
Race
Championships.

together
a
great
weekend
of
racing
this
past
weekend
in
Meridian,
Mississippi.
Frank
Breure
took
2nd
in
Saturday
night's
crit,
with
Stuart
Lamp
and
Peter
Knoop
close
behind
in
4th
and
6th,
respectively.
Sunday's
grueling
road
race
didn't
bother
John
McLauchlin
as
he
took
the
win.
Breure
and
Lamp
finished
4th
and
10th,
respectively.

weekend
to
compete
in
the
LA/MS
District
Criterium
Championship.
Thompson
took
the
win
in
the
Pro/1/2
field,
giving
him
the
title
of
2006
LA/MS
District
Criterium
Champion.

Mike
Olheiser
headed
to
Nationals
this
past
weekend
to
compete
in
the
Masters
30-34
Road
Race.
Olheiser
was
able
to
get
off
the
front
of
the
group
early
in
the
race
with
five
other
guys
and
came
across
the
finish
line
for
the
solo
win
to
obtain
his
second
National
Championship
title.
He
finished
one
minute
and
5
seconds
ahead
of
the
second
place
finisher.

this
past
week
to
compete
in
the
Masters
40-44
National
Championship
Road
Race
and
Criterium.
He
started
off
his
trip
to
Nationals
with
a
bang
taking
second
in
Wednesday's
criterium.

Mike's
display
of
Motorwerks-CARVE
gear
and
racing
memorabilia.
This
past
weekend,
a
party
was
thrown
in
Huntsville,
Alabama
in
Mike's
honor
in
order
to
help
support
his
trip
to
the
2006
World
Championships
in
Austria.
The
party
was
great
with
incredible
amounts
of
good
food.
Mike
had
laid
out
all
of
his
memorabilia
for
everyone
to
see
(pictured
above).
He
even
had
his
2005
National
Championship
jersey
on
display.
It
was
a
great
party
with
great
friends
and
family
that
raised
the
appropriate
funds
to
send
Mike
to
World
Championships,
making
this
gathering
a
success.

The
team
competed
in
Covington,
Louisiana
this
past
weekend
in
the
oldest
stage
race
in the
country.
The
race
started
off
great
with
the
team
having
five
athletes
in
the
top
10.
Hunter
East,
Mike Olheiser,
and
John
McLauchlin
all
produced
a
fast
time
of
6:02,
giving
them
three
of
the
top
five
positions.
Frank
Breure
and
Brent
Thompson
followed
close
behind
taking
7th
and
10th
place,
respectively.
Hunter
East
and
John
McLauchlin
got
3rd
and
10th,
respectively,
in
Saturday
afternoon's
road
race
and
the
team
continued
their
great
weekend
with
East
taking
1st
in
Sunday's
crit.
Additionally,
Breure,
Thompson,
and
Olheiser
took
6th,
7th,
and
8th,
respectively.
The
successful
weekend
was
awarded
with
all
five
athletes
placing
in
the
Overall
Top
